el Marino

It's interesting to see that El Marino, a supposed online newspaper that is the successor of a print newspaper that ceased to exist almost a hundred years ago, was protected by the administrator called Diego Grez, who is also the founder of the online newspaper.

This looks to me as a clearly conflict of interest. Regards. --Sfs90 (tauk) 22:16, 22 Dizember 2014 (UTC)

Sfs90, we don't have policies on COI here, even if we did, this would not be a violation IMO. Please do your research before wanting an admin to take action on anything. I request that Diego Grez unprotect this, as this has not been subject of any "vandalism". Regards, --AmaryllisGardener talk 01:43, 23 Dizember 2014 (UTC)
Funny how they sarcastically refer to "El Marino" as a "supposed" online newspaper... The page is now unprotected, but if you decide to vandalize it, someone here will most likely block you, Sfs90. --Diego Grez (tauk) 18:50, 25 Dizember 2014 (UTC)
