Deutsche Nationalbibliothek (DNB) er Tyskland sitt nasjonalbibliotek og sentrale arkivbibliotek, og er samstundes det største tyske universalbiblioteket.
På grunn av den føderale strukturen og den historiske utviklinga i det tyske språkområdet fram til 1912 fanst det lenge ikkje eit sentralt bibliotek. I staden hadde store tyske statar sine eigne statlege bibliotek, som Bayerische Staatsbibliothek i Bayern og Preußische Staatsbibliothek, dagens Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz i Preussen og andre.
Tidlege initiativ til eit sams tysk bibliotek i 1843 og 1848/49 vart avvist eller rann ut i sanda før stiftinga av arkivbiblioteket Deutsche Bücherei den 3. oktober 1912. Etter andre verdskrigen utvikla det seg et eige Deutsche Bibliothek i Frankfurt, medan Deutsche Bücherei heldt fram i DDR. Med samlinga av Tyskland vart Deutsche Bücherei og Deutsche Bibliothek slått saman til Die Deutsche Bibliothek. I 2006 blei oppgåvene for eit sentralt arkivbibliotek og nasjonalbibliografisk senter fastslått i lovs form og namnet endra til Deutsche Nationalbibliothek.
