Blood On The Risers: Lied

Het wordt onder meer gezongen door de 82e Luchtlandingsdivisie, de 101e Luchtlandingsdivisie, de 173e Luchtlandingsbrigade en het 4e Brigade Combat Team van de 25e Infanteriedivisie van de Verenigde Staten. Dit nummer heeft een rol in de miniserie Band of Brothers en het videospel Brothers in Arms, en wordt genoemd in het boek Currahee! A Screaming Eagle in Normandy van Donald Burgett.

"Blood on the Risers" wordt gezongen op de melodie van de "Battle Hymn of the Republic" en vertelt over de laatste sprong van een parachutist wiens parachute niet werkt. Dit resulteert in zijn dood.

Het wordt betwist of het koor "Gory, Gory" of "Glory, Glory" zingt, net als de originele "Battle Hymn of the Republic".
