English: The Singapore national anthem is played while their flag is lowered for the last time at Kiwi Base here Oct. 27, 2010, signifying the end of the Singapore Army's mission with the International Security Assistance Force. The Singapore troops have been part of the New Zealand Provincial Reconstruction Team for three years doing six-month rotations. The unit's final contribution has been the oversight of the construction of a health clinic in Bamyan, the capital of Bamyan Province, Afghanistan. |
