Deutsch: Das lettische Kultusministerium registrierte am 5. April 2019 das Wappen von Vandzene.
English: Granted 5 April 2019.
Latviešu: Arī Vandzenes pagasta ģerboni ir izstrādājis heraldiskais mākslinieks Edgars Sims.
Centrālais simboliskais tēls ģerbonī ir vanags. Lai gan, kā skaidro vietējie iedzīvotāji, Vandzenes nosaukums, iespējams, veidojies no senprūšu vārda „Wangus” (izretināts ozoliens) vai vecleišu „Vanga” (tīrumi), sarunvalodā nereti iegājies Vandzeni saukt arī par „Vanadzeni”. Turklāt Vandzenes Lielais akmens, kas savā laikā pamatīgi apstrādāts, ir ar horizontāli notēstu virspusi. Dienvidu mala atgādina putna spārnus, kas redzams no putna lidojuma.
Savukārt trīs pieclapu ziedi ir atsauce uz Brinkenu dzimtas ģerboni. Iģenes muižā no 1745. līdz 1827. gadam saimniekoja Aleksandrs fon Brinkens. Muižas teritorijā atrodas unikāla koka Iģenes baznīca, kas šobrīd ir Valsts nozīmes kultūras piemineklis, būvēta 1757. gadā par muižas īpašnieka Aleksandra fon Brinkena līdzekļiem.[1]
