1-Click Answers 2.0, Wikipedia Edition – look up a word in a Windows program by alt-clicking on it (created by Answers.com as a result of a partnership with the Wiki Foundation)
Cleeki – Cleeki is a Windows-based program for generic search purpose, but particularly optimized for Wiki ಕನ್ನಡ. It allows one click keyword grabs from anywhere on the screen and returns Wikipedia results for them.

User:Ixfd64/revision sizes – revision size visualizer written in R
Wiki: Wiki2VCS - script that loads histories onto one's computer, so that they can be quickly diffed and searched
Diffs:
User:Superm401/Compare link.js – makes the "compare selected versions" button into a link (diffs can be in new windows, tabs, etc.)
Wiki: WikiProject User scripts/Scripts/Changes since I last edited – adds a tab that does a diff between the editor's last edit and the current version of a page

WikiBlame – searches for given text in versions of article
Soxred93's Article Blamer – similar to WikiBlame, identifies revisions that added given text
User:AmiDaniel/WhodunitQuery – Windows application that identifies the edit and user who added a specific word or phrase
Contributor edit counts and analysis:
userhist – user script, adds interface elements for isolating a user's changes to a page.
Contributors – lists edits, similar to page history, but can be sorted by contributor; easy to exclude different groups
Intersect Contribs – compares the edits of two editors in any Wiki Foundation wiki to see which articles overlap
Wikistalk – similar to Intersect Contribs, allows comparisons between more than two users and namespace selection, works only on the English Wikipedia
Editor Interaction Analyzer, shows the common pages that two editors have both edited, sorted by minimum time between edits by both users. Only works on the English Wiki ಕನ್ನಡ.
dbswithuser – user data with edit counts (including deleted edits) of a user name in all replicated wikis of the Toolserver
Importing (converting) content to Wikipedia (MediaWiki) format
Google Docs Spreadsheet:
Spreadsheet-to-MediaWiki-table-Converter This class constructs a MediaWiki-format table from an Excel/GoogleDoc copy&paste. It provides a variety of methods to modify the style. It defaults to a Wikipedia styling with first column header.
Microsoft Word:
mw:Extension:Word2MediaWikiPlus – a tool that converts Microsoft Word documents to MediaWiki. For Ms Word 2000 or 2003. "Support for Word 2007 and a bunch of other fixes, but it needs to be installed by hand".

A free open source tool, in .net to convert CSV and EXCEL files to wiki table format: csv2other.
A proprietary, commercial, tool to create mass Mediawiki pages using CSV datasource and variable based templates. Results merged into a valid Mediawiki XML Import file. Mediawiki CSV Import tool.
wiki2csv can convert wikitable table-responsive s to CSV and back. Useful to edit wikitable table-responsive s in Excel (or OpenOffice).
OpenOffice:
Sun Wiki Publisher - an OpenOffice extension that allows exporting documents as MediaWiki source text via the File → Export → File Format drop down menu. Since OpenOffice.org can open all Microsoft Office files, one can open files created in Microsoft Word and export them to the MediaWiki format. Compatible with: OpenOffice.org 3.0 | StarOffice 9 or higher.
Writer2MediaWiki: OpenOffice macro for converting to MediaWiki format. For OpenOffice version 3.1 or higher
mw:Alternative parsers – programs and projects to translate MediaWiki's text markup syntax into something else, such as HTML
wiki2csv is a command line tool that can convert wikitable table-responsive s into comma separated value files that can be edited by Excel or LibreOffice. The result can be converted back retaining most of the original formatting.
