Description
English: As a preliminary material, on July 1, 1954 (Showa 29), the Self-Defense Forces flag and the Self-Defense Forces regiment flag (regimental flag) newly enacted by the Self-Defense Forces Law Enforcement Ordinance and the Self-Defense Forces Flag New Rising Sun Flag. Tokutaro Kimura, the first Director General of the Defense Agency. Term: July 1, 1954 to December 10, 1954. At their feet are signs of the "Defense Agency" and the "National Defense Academy". The Japanese Defense Agency was established on 1 July 1954. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan: "The Self-Defense Force flag of the Maritime Self-Defense Force and the Self-Defense Force flag (regimental flag) of the Ground Self-Defense Force are to use the Rising Sun design by the Self-Defense Force Law Enforcement Ordinance enacted in 1954. It has been raised in various situations outside the country.”[1]
