| Description |
Français : Auguste Steinheil, La Rhétorique (1865), médaillon de la rose du transept nord de la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Laon : la Rose des Arts libéraux. Les médaillons représentent les sept arts libéraux, auxquels ont été ajoutées La Médecine et La Philosophie (médaillon central). Le vitrail date de 1200 à 1210, mais quatre médaillons ont été réalisés par Auguste Steinheil en 1865 (La Philosophie, La Rhétorique, La Musique, La Médecine) ; il a repris les figures des voussures d'un portail de la façade, consacrées elles aussi aux arts libéraux (Source : site du ministère de la Culture). |
