中文：中華民國(台灣)駐斐濟代表周進發於112年3月10日代表「國泰綜合醫院」捐贈價值222,500斐濟幣(折合約100,000美元)的醫療物資，包括血液透析機、移動式RO淨水設備、洗腎相關醫療耗材等，給斐濟離島(Vanua Levu)的Labasa醫院，以協助該院建置血液透析中心，提升島上慢性病患之醫療服務品質。

周代表在捐贈儀式上表示，根據統計，斐濟國內約80%死亡因素是由非傳染性疾病(NCD)引起，且數字逐年增長。糖尿病是斐濟主要的慢性病之一，容易引發腎臟疾病。周代表強調，為了讓Vanua Levu島民能享有更健全的醫療服務，台灣政府透過與「國泰綜合醫院」合作，針對Labasa醫院建置之血液透析中心所需的醫療物資進行採購，以解決島上慢性病患需搭機至斐濟本島(Vanua Levu)醫院洗腎之種種不便。
Labasa醫院感謝台灣捐贈所需醫療物資，並協助該院建置血液透析中心。武漢肺炎疫情前，「國泰綜合醫院」每年派遣醫療團前來義診，提供耳鼻喉科、放射線及內科診療協助，Labasa醫院期望持續與我國醫

台灣自2006年起提供斐濟醫療協助，「國泰綜合醫院」與Labasa醫院合作密切，自2014年起多次派遣醫療團至斐濟義診並為病患手術，受惠民眾迄今已超過8,000人。
