Summary[edit]
English: Unfinished building for student housing at the University Campus of Cerro San Javier. A December 18, 1948, National Government Decree signed by President Juan Perón expropriated 17,000 hectacres (43,000 acres) in the Sierra de San Javier for the University City project, which consisted of the construction of buildings and spaces for the relocation of the National University of Tucuman in the Sierra, in a natural reserve. Budget cuts in 1952 began to slow the pace of construction, and the project was completely suspended in 1955 by decision of the new national authorities following the coup against Perón. Other related works - such as the 33 homes in San Javier, the Anfama Aqueduct, and the Horco Molle Development - were ultimately carried out. |

Argentina has no "freedom of panorama" provision in its copyright law. At least some think there is de facto freedom of panorama in Argentina regarding buildings:
It is uncontroversially accepted that buildings can be reproduced by paintings or photographs, without this reproduction infringing copyright.
