Description
Català: Projecte de col·laboració de l'Arxiu Ismael Latorre Mendoza amb Wikimedia Commons i Amical Wikimedia.

L'Arxiu allibera avui aquesta imatge feta per Ismael Latorre Mendoza amb data 23-05-1949.

S'hi conserven 23 negatius dedicats a l'arròs a la mateixa carpeta i desenes d'imatges a l'arxiu.

El Cano d'Alginet (Séquia reial del Xúquer) és una instal·lació hidràulica que serveix per travessar el barranc dels Algadins, amb dues rampes d'entrada i sortida; i un tram recte. La longitud és de 170 metres i la capacitat per a 10 metres cúbics per segon. Amplada i alçada de 3 i 1'80 metres, respectivament.

Actualment aquesta instal·lació hidràulica està al costat de la nova línia d'AVE, pròxima a l'Autovia de la Mediterrània o A-7. Des d'aquesta autovia fins els camps actuals d'arròs la distància, en direcció a la mar, supera els 4 quilòmetres. De fet, en el camí Trullàs, la Moncarra i el terme d'Alginet, l'arròs ha desaparegut i actualment la terra es dedica a la producció de fruita.
