Description
Español: Cedula Real autorizando la fundacion oficial de la Universidad de San Marcos. Desde su fundación, por Real Provisión (1551), San Marcos -o los Estudios Generales- se erigió a semejanza de los Estudios o Universidad de Salamanca. Con Real Cédula del 31/12/1588, dada en Madrid, se ratifica que los graduados en la Universidad de San Marcos gocen en todas las indias occidentales, islas y tierra firme del mar océano,de los privilegios, libertades y franquezas de los graduados de la Universidad de Salamanca. Fuente: UNMSM. Cédula Real de los privilegios concedidos a los graduados en esta Universidad. Aparecida en los libros de Constituciones y Ordenanzas de la Universidad, impresos en 1735.
