Sacnoth is a video game developer founded in 1997 by former Square staff including composer Hiroki Kikuta.
The company is best known for the Shadow Hearts series, which spun off from the 1999 video game Koudelka. They are also known for their work on two Neo Geo Pocket Color titles Dive Alert and Faselei!. Initially independent, they were acquired by Aruze in 2002, going through two name changes being being folded into Aruze in 2009.
