history Of The People's Republic Of China

This is a very informative piece, but it has a few grammatical problems and several redundant paragraphs.

Ive checked the first paragraph and changed a few grammatical errors and hopefully made it flow a bit more in some places. Interesting article. --Scotty Mate 6 July 2005 10:01 (UTC)

Coup d'etat

Why is this phrase not used to describe the removal of the Gang of Four? DOR (HK) (talk) 03:57, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Conservative?

In the context of this period of chinese history, the word "conservative" usually refers to old guard Maoist communists who opposed capitalist reform, so it's quite strange to see Deng referred to as a conservative reformer. This article should use the wider sense of the word conservative, i.e. someone who supports the status quo.--99.240.122.45 (talk) 16:01, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
