Mask Bloc

Mask Blocs are groups focused on Disability Justice that participate in Advocacy and Mutual Aid by distributing high-filtration masks for free.

Mask Blocs are decentralized groups that typically organize online. They also typically distribute within one area, such as Los Angeles or Portland. Mask Blocs were spread in part due to the efforts of researchers to spread awareness of community-based projects to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
