Description
English: A photograph taken in 1916 showing American Consul General Sammons handing a check to Mr Edward Ezra in payment of the American Government site at Shanghai and receiving in return a deed to the property.
Also in the picture standing between Ezra and Sammons are Mrs C.S. Lobingier (wife of the Judge of the United States Court for China and Thomas R. Jernigan, former US Consul General in Shanghai.
