Deutsch: Der Dachstuhl des Stephansdoms in der österreichischen Bundeshauptstadt Wien. Am unteren Bildrand der erhöhte Bereich des Langhaus-Mittelschiffes.
Der Dachstuhl ist eine rund 600 Tonnen schwere Stahlkonstruktion, die den Lärchenholz-Dachstuhl aus dem 15. Jahrhundert ersetzte, der 1945 zur Gänze abbrannte. Bei der Wiederinstandsetzung wurde zusätzlich vorab über den Gewölben eine Betondecke eingezogen (1946 über dem Langhaus mit dem leicht erhöhten Mittelschiff und 1948 über dem Chor), um einerseits bis zur Fertigstellung des Daches das Innere des Domes zu schützen und anderseits eine Arbeits- und Lagerfläche für den Wiederaufbau des Daches zu haben. Dieser Wiederaufbau, der weitgehendst in der gleichen Form des ursprünglichen Daches erfolgte, wurde mit November 1950 abgeschlossen. |
