[...] The second category involves mainly the military personnel in Xinjiang, notably the PLA, the General Armed Police Force stationed in Xinjiang. [...] The third category globalises the increasing number of professional units sent from Chinese inland provinces and deployed in the exploitation fields in Xinjiang. [...] Regarding the personnel under the jurisdiction of the central authorities in Beijing making up Xinjiang's demography, only the third category [...] is added to the Han population as effective residents in the following paragraphs.
