Kurze Nachrichten

(Deutschland.) Dem Professor Meinicke in Halle ist es gelungen, durch electrisches Licht, mit Hilfe einer künstlichen in Glasröhren eingeschlossenen Luft, welche nicht brennt, sondern bloß leuchtet, eine schöne Erleuchtung hervorzubringen; da sich die electrischen Funken fast in's Unendliche fortpflanzen, so hofft er es möglich zu machen, vermittelst einer einzigen Electrisirmaschine und der angegebenen Vorrichtung ohne besondere Kosten eine ganze Stadt zu erleuchten!!? - In Carlsbad sollte nach öffentlichen Blättern, auch die Errichtung eines obersten Gerichtshofes, um die Beschlüsse der Bundesversammlung in Ausführung zu bringen, in Anregung kommen. - Die nömlichen Auftritte, welche in Würzburg, Bamberg, Frankfurt am Main gegen die Israelitischen Glaubensgenossen statt gefunden haben, sollen auch in Baireuth, Darmstadt, Hannover und Mainz vorgefallen seyn.
