Description
Deutsch: Die Definition der unterschiedlichen Meereszonen im Seevölkerrecht
Das Menschheitserbe beschränkt sich heute lediglich auf die mineralischen Ressourcen des Meeresbodens seewärts nationaler Hoheitsbefugnisse („das Gebiet“), die von der Meeresbodenbehörde verwaltet werden. Das UN-Seerechtsübereinkommen (UNCLOS) mitsamt seiner bestehenden Durchführungsübereinkommen definiert den Rahmen der Meeres-Governance. Die Regional Fisheries Management Organisations (RFMO) organisieren die Bewirtschaftung der Fischbestände auf der Hohen See sowie der gebietsübergreifenden und weit wandernden Fischbestände in den Ausschließlichen Wirtschaftszonen (AWZ).
