Description
Français : Pour le dernier mois de l'année, le peintre n'a pas retenu l'iconographie traditionnelle de la tuerie de cochon pour Noël pour préférer une scène de vénerie. Il s'agit plus précisément de la curée, au moment où l'un des chasseurs, à droite, achève de sonner l'hallali. Les chiens dépècent le sanglier. La scène se déroule au centre d'une forêt dont les arbres sont encore en feuilles. À l'horizon se dresse le château de Vincennes, achevé par Charles V, avec son donjon central et ses tours.
