Summary[edit]

Description The American Express Company Building at 65 Broadway between Morris Street and Rector Street in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1914-1917 and was designed by James L. Aspinwall of the firm of Renwick, Aspinwall & Tucker in the neo-classical style. The 21-story building goes through to Trinity Place, and was the headquarters of American Express until 1975. The concrete and steel-frame building was designated a New York City landmark in 1995. (Source: Guide to NYC Landmarks (4th ed.))
