Description
English: The multipurpose thermalhydraulic test facility TOPFLOW was designed to investigate stationary and transient phenomena in two-phase flows with the purpose of development and validation of models used in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes.
Deutsch: Die Versuchsanlage TOPFLOW wurde vom Institut für Sicherheitsforschung des Forschungszentrums Dresden-Rossendorf zur Untersuchung stationärer und transienter Zweiphasenströmungen mit dem Ziel der Validierung von Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Codes errichtet. Mit der Anlage können im Dampfbetrieb Drücke bis zu 7 MPa, Temperaturen bis 286 °C und Dampfmassenströme bis 1,4 kg/s eingestellt werden.
