Bulpin (1918–1999) was 'n produktiewe Suid-Afrikaanse skrywer, hoofsaaklik van reisverhale. Thomas Victor Bulpin is in 1918 in Umkomaas in KwaZulu-Natal gebore. Op 16 het hy as tegnikus in die rolprentbedryf begin werk en daarna by die Suid-Afrikaanse Lugmag aangesluit. Hy was ook 'n nuusredakteur vir die Associated British Cinema Corporation, wat hom oor Afrika gestuur het om die nuusgebeure te dek. Tydens sy reise het hy materiaal vir sy boeke versamel. Later het hy sy eie uitgewery begin.
Oor sy loopbaan het hy 29 boeke geskryf en meer as 2000 boekies, pamflette, koerant- en tydskrifartikels gelewer, en selfs reisvideo's vervaardig. Hy het oor Afrika se grootwildjagters geskryf (hoewel hy nie self gejag het nie), sowel as oor sy Suid-Afrikaanse reise en die geskiedenis.
Bulpin is in 1999 in Kaapstad aan kanker oorlede. Hy was 81 jaar oud.
