Description
Deutsch: Das Radarprinzip: Ein hochfrequenter Impuls großer Leistung wird gerichtet ausgesendet und an elektrisch leitenden Flächen reflektiert. Das Echo wird wieder empfangen und die Laufzeit gemessen. Maßstabsgerecht wird auf dem Sichtgerät eine Entfernungsauslenkung realisiert. Trifft das Echo ein, kann hier der Impulsabstand und somit die Entfernung gemessen werden.
English: The operating principle of radar: A pulse of high frequency radio waves is emitted by the radar antenna and reflects from the surface of the target. The returning signal or "echo" is received by the radar antenna, and the round-trip travel time is measured. The distance to the target is proportional to the travel time. On the display shown the distance is proportional to how far the pulse is to the right on the display
