Die Kaapse kiaat (Strychnos decussata) is 'n boom wat in Suid-Afrika groei in laagliggende streke in verskeie habitats vanaf die Wes-Kaap tot by Limpopo.
Die boom is ook inheems in Kenia, Madagaskar, Malawi, Mosambiek, Somalië, Tanzanië, Zambië en Zimbabwe.

In Engels staan die boom bekend as die Cape-Teak. Die boom se FSA-nommer is 624.
Die blomme is effens assimmetries, vlesig en 1.5 cm in deursnee. Die skil is korserig en oranje tot rooi wanneer dit ryp is. Die bas en vrugte is blykbaar giftig as dit groen is.
