Elisha Gray (2 Augustus 1835 in Barnesville, Ohio - 21 Januarie 1901 in Newtonville, Massachusetts) was 'n Amerikaanse elektriese ingenieur en mede-stigter van die vervaardigingsmaatskappy Western Electric.
Gray is veral bekend vir die ontwikkeling van 'n prototipe telefoon in 1876 in Highland Park, Illinois. Hy word deur sommige skrywers as die ware uitvinder van die veranderlike weerstand telefoon beskou, ten spyte daarvan dat Alexander Graham Bell uiteindelik die patentregte bekom het.
