Article 1

The flag of the Republic of Tunisia has the form of a rectangle of red color and the width of which is equal to two thirds (23) of its length. It is attached to a pole by the width of its left side.

Article 2:

A white circle is drawn in the middle of the flag, the diameter of which is equal to one third (13) of the length of the rectangle. The centre of the circle is located at the intersection point of the diagonals of the rectangle.
In the white circle is drawn a red star of five points, the centre of which is located on the horizontal centreline to the right of the centre of the white circle and at a distance equal to one thirtieth (130) of the length of the flag in the direction opposite to the side attached to the pole.
The dimensions of the branches of the star are determined by an imaginary circle circumscribing the ends of said branches and sharing its centre that of the star, its diameter is equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the length of the flag. The branches are equidistant, the end of one of them being located on the horizontal centreline of the flag and left from the centre of the white circle.
The star is surrounded on the side of the shaft by a red crescent formed by the intersection of two arcs, an external arc having as its centre that of the white circle and whose diameter is equal to a quarter (14) of the length of the flag and an internal arc having as its centre that of the star and whose diameter is equal to one fifth (15) of the length of the flag.
