If you're wondering what is a minor edit, please see some helpful pages on this here, here and here. Thanks! :) Belwine💬📜 19:27, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

Thanks! I did not know that. I will know that for next time. Linux rules, Windows drools (talk) 19:28, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

State of Palestine

Your definition doesn't match up with the meaning of the actual meanings of the words like de facto means "existing or holding a specified position in fact but not necessarily by legal right." That's why I reverted your edit. Regards --AyoXR (What's Good? - My Contributions) 20:02, 25 January 2022 (UTC)

Why though?

"De jure" literally means "by law", or "legally".

Independent means "free".

I admit that I used "effectively" incorrectly, but other than that it seems correct. I'd be glad for you to enlighten me though.

@QuickQuokka: Check my first reply, you misplaced your definition of de facto and de jure, I rollbacked it the first time without a warning and I sent you an explanation as to why I reverted your edit, then you repeated the same mistake, I thought you were just doing so as an Anti-Zionist sentiment thus the anti-vandalism warning on your talk page --AyoXR (What's Good? - My Contributions) 20:22, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
"De facto" means not legally, but in practice: "effectively".
"De jure" means by law: "legally".
"Independent" means seperate from another; on it's own: "free".
I am once again confused as to which terms I misappropriated.
And I'm not doing this because I'm anti-Zionist, I'm doing this to put the article in simpler terms. I'm literally an Israeli Jew.

check your diffs, you mixed up De Facto's, definition with De Jure's. vv --AyoXR (What's Good? - My Contributions) 20:51, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
The following was the text before I edited:
"The State of Palestine, also known simply as Palestine, is a de jure sovereign state in the Middle East with East Jerusalem as its capital. It is recognized by 141 United Nations members. Since 2012 it has non-member observer status in the United Nations. This amounts to a de facto, or implicit, recognition of statehood. The State of Palestine claims the West Bank and the Gaza Strip as its territory. Its independence was declared on 15 November 1988."
The following was the text after I edited:
"The State of Palestine, also known simply as Palestine, is legally a free state in the Middle East with East Jerusalem as its capital. It is recognized by 141 United Nations members. I literally used all the terms correctly. I'd be glad if you can point out where exactly I used incorrect terminology.
