The 2023–24 Akron Zips men's basketball team represented the University of Akron during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.
The Zips, led by seventh-year head coach John Groce, played their home games at the James A. Rhodes Arena in Akron, Ohio as members of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the regular season 21–10, 13–5 in MAC play to finish tied for 2nd place. They defeated Miami, Ohio, and Kent State to win the MAC tournament, earning them a bid to the NCAA Tournament as a 14-seed in the Midwest region. They were defeated by Creighton in the opening round of the NCAA tournament, bringing their final record to 24–11.

The Zips finished the 2022–23 season 22–11 and 13–5 in MAC play to finish in third place. As the third seed they defeated Buffalo in the first round of the MAC tournament before losing to Kent State.
